My motives

I have received some "feedback" questioning my motives for creating this website.

It was suggested that I am doing to this to make money by selling $14 teeshirts. Yeah, that's the plan. I intend to purchase an island in the South Pacific with the profits.

Seriously, the shirts come from cafepress.com and they are priced at cost. Maybe there's a cheaper way to get tee-shirts. I am open to suggestions and I don't want to make a dime.

It was also suggested that it would be more effective if I did a press release got people to write letters. Now that is a good idea. I am just not sure who to send them to. Under Armour or Cubs, or both? Any thoughts?

How do you do a press release?

No, how do you really feel?

Check out the shop.

Unlike the Cubs, I am not trying to make a buck here. All items sold at cost.

Visit the shop here.

Oh, the horror!

Ads in the Outfield?

Ads in the outfield? WTF! No way.

Wrigley Field is the last bastion on pure baseball. It is mostly unadulterated by marketing and media. It's bad enough that they keep creeping in with ads on the scoreboards, but this is TOO far. They have crossed the line.

This borders on sacrilege. They have desecrated the temple.

This saddens me deeply.

It is a bad day in Cubs history.

Shame on the Cubs. I think that I am going to go puke. No seriously.
